In time, I do foresee some playthroughs to become slightly repetitive, but this shouldn't be an issue if I distribute my sessions over time. This ensures that every session is randomized and unique. However, all of these types of cards are chosen randomly from a larger pool of cards. There are 12 cards which act as levels within any given playthrough, with an additional starting card and boss card. Overall, I found enjoyment during my sessions. However, it is pretty good at its core mechanics, albeit some may find them to be too simple. If you're looking for tactical gameplay, character progression, and innovative mechanics, this is not the game for that. I consider the two core gameplay components to be essentially a "choose your own adventure" style story with dice chucking. 20 minutes, which is much shorter than the typical solo games I play (Descent, Mage Knight, Arkham/LotR LCGs, etc). The setup/teardown is very quick (2-3 minutes). I enjoy the core mechanics and they are easy to learn. I have played the game twice so far, and intend to keep playing more. I have never played/owned a game like this, so I just wanted to share my thoughts with other fellow solo players.
